Totino-Grace Wins Early Season Boys Basketball Showdown at Hopkins
The Totino-Grace boys basketball team won its season opener Tuesday, beating Hopkins 79-75 in a battle of Minnesota heavyweights.
Trailing 34-33 at halftime, the Eagles took the lead for good early in the second half and outscored the Royals 46-41 in the second half.
Isaiah Johnson scored 31 points for the Eagles with Tian Chatman adding 17.
Jayden Moore and Anthony Smith each netted 18 point to lead the Royals (1-1).
