Totino-Grace Girls Soccer Falls in State Semifinals
The Totino-Grace girls soccer team lost 4-1 to Holy Angels in a class AA state semifinal game at U.S. Bank Stadium.
The Eagles fell behind 1-0 in the first half, but tied the game off a pass from Olivia Schroeder to Elana Engum. The Stars scored later in the first half to take back the lead and then proceeded to score twice in the second half on the way to the win.
Totino-Grace did beat Winona 1-o in the third place game Wednesday, while Holy Angels advances to Friday afternoon’s title game against Benilde-St. Margaret’s.
