Totino-Grace Girls Basketball Wins Section Title to Advance to State
The Totino-Grace girls basketball team beat Hill-Murray 59-50 to win the Section 4AAA title Thursday night.
The Eagles used a 21-4 run in the first half to build a 31-15 halftime lead.
The Pioneers fought back to within three in the second half but Totino-Grace held on for the win.
Hannah Herzig scored 24 points and Leah Dengerud 23 to lead the Eagles.
The Eagles will make their sixth state tournament appearance in program history.
The last previous trip was in 2009.
