Totino-Grace Girls Basketball Wins Section Playoff Opener
The Totino-Grace girls basketball team won its quarterfinal round game in the Section 5AAA tournament Thursday, beating Princeton 78-62.
Chloe Nuss lead the Eagles in scoring with 20 points- one of five T-G players to score in double figures. Erica Welsh scored 14, Ava Riegel and Carolyn Schrader 12 each and Sophia Person 10 points.
Sadie Meyer netted 31 points to lead the Tigers.
Totino-Grace (15-11) play at top-seeded Becker (19-8) in the 5AAA semifinals Saturday at 6:00 p.m.
