Totino-Grace Girls Basketball Wins Class AAA Title
The Totino-Grace girls basketball team wrapped up a great season by beating defending champion Becker to win the state class AAA title.
The Eagles won 60-51 to capture the second state title in program history.
Hannah Herzig finished off a great tournament with another huge game.
Herzig scored 21 points in the first half and 31 total in the game to lead the way for the Eagles.
Herzig joined teammates Leah Dengerud and Abby Lord on the all-tournament team.
Totino-Grace built a ten-point lead in the first half before Becker closed to within 28-24 at the half.
The Bulldogs fought back to within three a couple of times in the second half but the Eagles kept the lead.
Totino-Grace’s previous state title came in 2008.
