Totino-Grace Football Beats Simley to Improve to 2-0
After giving up an early touchdown, the Totino-Grace football team took over on the way to a 34-14 win over Simley Friday.
Simley struck for a 71-yard touchdown pass from Christian Urbina to Isaiah Wilson to open the scoring early in the first quarter.
Grace quickly answered with a 15-yard touchdown run by Michael Strong and it was 7-7 after one quarter.
Josiah Young scored on a pass from Jake Person on the first play of the second quarter for TG.
That was followed by another Strong touchdown and then a 57-yard sprint by Marquel Keten to put the Eagles up 27-7 at halftime.
