Totino-Grace Boys Basketball Tops Maple Grove 91-83
The Totino-Grace boys basketball team rallied from a five-point second half deficit to beat Maple Grove 91-83 in the season-opening game for both teams.
Sophomore Taison Chatman scored 24 points to lead the Eagles with Demarion Watson-Saulsberry adding 19.
Caden Boettcher scored 23 points and Jon Haakenson 22 for the Crimson.
Totino-Grace is coming off a 20-9 season with almost all of their players back from a year ago. Maple Grove finished 23-5 in 2020.
The Eagles play at Armstrong and Spring Lake Park next week.
The Crimson host Osseo and Champlin Park in their two games next week.
