Totino-Grace Boys Basketball Hands Park Center First Loss
The Totino-Grace boys basketball team overcame a slow start to beat Park Center 64-61 Friday.
It’s the first loss this season for Park Cente.
The game matched the top-ranked teams in class AAAA (Park Center) and class AAA (Totino-Grace).
The visiting Pirates jumped out to a 15-0 lead to start the game, and led 35-23 at the half.
The Eagles battled back and eventually caught the Pirates.
Demarion Watson and Tommy Humphries hit some big baskets down the stretch to carry the Eagles to the win.
Watson scored 17 to lead the Eagles, with Zy’lerre Stewart adding 14 and Humphries 12.
Braeden Carrington had 21 points and Leo Torbor 15 to lead Park Center.
The teams will play again February 18th at Park Center.
