Totino-Grace Boys Basketball Beats Park Center for Second Time
In matchup of the top-ranked boys basketball teams in Minnesota’s largest classes, Totino-Grace beat Park Center for a second time this season, 72-63.
The Eagles are rated third in class AAA, the Pirates are number one in AAAA.
After Park Center built an early 14-5 lead, the Eagles closed the first half strong to build a 34-25 lead.
Their margin grew to 15 in the second half before the Pirates rallied to within eight a couple of times.
The Eagles never let PC get any closer though and secured their second win this season in the rivalry.
Chace Watley had 27 points and Isaiah Johnson-Arigu 26 for the Eagles.
Ari Gooch had 20 points, all in the second half, to lead the Pirates.
