Totino-Grace Beats Champlin Park to Win Sub-State 8 Legion Title
The Totino-Grace American Legion baseball team beat Champlin Park 7-6 in 10 innings Sunday to win the Sub-State 8 title and advance to this week’s state tournament.
The Eagles led 4-0 early after a first-inning grand slam from Drew Zehr only to see the Rebels rally and force extra innings.
Post 303 opens the state tournament against Tri-City Red Thursday at 12:30 pm at St. Michael-Albertville High School.
