Totino-Grace Baseball Scores Seven Unanswered in State Semifinal win over St. Thomas Academy
The Totino Grace baseball team is headed back to the Class AAA state championship for the second time in three years.
The Eagles scored seven unanswered runs against St. Thomas Academy in the AAA state semifinals to defeat the Cadets 7-2.
Tied up ay two in the bottom of the fifth, Brady Keane delivered a 2-RBI double to score the go-ahead lead.
Joe McGeary earned the win for T-G, striking out four batters and allowing just four hits in six innings pitched.
The Eagles will now face Mahtomedi in a rematch of the 2024 title game on Monday at 4:30 at Target Field.
