Totino-Grace Baseball Ready for Second Consecutive Legion State Tournament
For a second straight season, the Totino-Grace Post 303 baseball team is taking part in the Minnesota American Legion State Tournament.
The Eagles defeated Champlin Park 7-6 in extra innings to win the Sub-State Eight title and now take their aim at state.
Several members of the team will be playing in their fourth baseball state tournament in 14 months.
The Eagles advanced to both the MSHSL and Legion state tournaments in each of the past two seasons.
T-G will open the state tournament on Thursday afternoon against Tri-City Red at St, Michael-Albertville High School.
