Totino-Grace Baseball Plays Waiting Game for Championship Contest
The Totino-Grace baseball team is getting some unplanned extra time together this week.
The Eagles and the other teams in championship games in the four classes of Minnesota high school baseball were supposed to complete the season this past Monday at Target Field.
The games were rained out that day, and with the Twins having home games Tuesday through Thursday, MSHSL championship games were moved to Friday.
Now the decision has been made to attempt to play two championship games Friday and two Saturday at Target Field.
Totino-Grace will aim for its first state title in baseball as they meet Mahtomedi for the class AAA crown Saturday morning at 11:00.
