Totino-Grace Baseball Beats Armstrong
The Totino-Grace baseball team spoiled Armstrong’s season opener, beating the Falcons 3-0 Tuesday.
The Eagles scored on a Falcons’ error in the second inning, then added single runs in the sixth and seventh innings to secure the win.
Both starting pitchers did well; Grace’s Kellen Westphal threw four scoreless innings while Will Hoffrogge of Armstrong didn’t allow a hit until the fifth, and allowed one unearned run.
The Eagles improved to 2-0 with the win while the Falcons dropped to 0-1.
