Top-Ranked Wayzata Boys Soccer Set for Section Tournament
The Wayzata boys soccer team has enjoyed a great regular season.
The Trojans went 9-1-1 and won the Lake Conference, outscoring their opponents 38-5.
They are ranked number one in the state in class AA.
There won’t be a state tournament this season because of the COVID-19 pandemic, so Wayzata is focusing in on winning the Section 6AA title.
The Trojans are the top seed for the tournament and host Cooper in the quarterfinals Wednesday at 5:00 p.m.
