Tibbits, Chavis Among Picks for All-Metro Boys Basketball Team
Wayzata’s Hayden Tibbits and Cash Chavis of Park Center were among the local players selected to the Star-Tribune’s all-metro boys basketball team.
Tibbits, Wayzata’s leading scorer, was named to the first team while Chavis and Patrick Bath from Totino-Grace were selected to the second team. All three will play Thursday in their respective state semifinal round games.
Local players named to the All-Metro honorable mention list include Quay Douglas from Brooklyn Center, CJ O’Hara and JJ Ware of Park Center, Taison Chatman of Totino-Grace, Jalen Wilson of Benilde-St. Margaret’s and Hopkins freshman Jayden Moore.
