Terry Westermann Wraps Up 40 Year Career at Park Center
He didn’t get to coach a final season of track this spring because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
But Terry Westermann is taking it in stride as he wraps up a 40-year career coaching and teaching at Park Center High School.
He says the canceled spring season made coaches and athletes realize that there are more important things than sports; their health comes first.
Westermann was best known as Park Center’s head football coach from 1997-2006.
He’s also coached track, hockey, soccer and adapted floor hockey.
Westermann was a student-athlete at Park Center in the early years of the school, graduating in 1976.
