Terry Tuma Ice Fishing Tip: The Noise Factor
In this week’s CCX Ice Fishing Tip, Hall of Fame angler Terry Tuma talks about noise on the ice and how that can affect fishing success.
Terry says noise doesn’t just include vehicles driving on the ice, but it can also be walking on the ice, noise from a radio or TV coming from within your fish house, and drilling holes.
Terry says when possible, he likes to drill a hole where there is snow cover to minimize the noise.
Also consider moving to a quieter part of the lake if there are many fish houses crowded in one area.
