Terry Tuma Ice Fishing Tip: Rod Selection for Sunfish and Crappies
In this week’s CCX Ice Fishing Tip, Hall of Fame angler Terry Tuma talks about rod selection and how many rods to take with you when fishing for crappies and sunfish.
Terry says he generally takes five to seven rods, all rigged with different lures.
Among the lures Terry prefers are a vertical jigging spoon, a jigging rap, a tungsten jig and another tungsten jig tipped with dressing.
Terry also suggests using three wax worms at a time for maximum movement and attraction.
“Practice versality” is the overall key to success.
