Terry Tuma Ice Fishing Tip: Mushy Ice
In this week’s CCX Ice Fishing Tip Hall of Fame angler Terry Tuma talks about the warm weather and how it has affected ice conditions on Minnesota lakes.
Ice thickness varies depending on the body of water. Terry says that while most lakes are still safe to walk out onto (and ice fish with portable gear) that driving is no longer recommended.
The ice is also getting softer, leading to mushy conditions.
