Terry Tuma Fishing Tip: Tip-Ups
In this week’s CCX Ice Fishing Tip, Hall of Fame angler Terry Tuma talks about the use of tip-ups.
Terry often uses a bobber as a marker and suggests having your line from the tip-up suspended about six to twelve inches above the bottom for walleye fishing and two to three feet off the bottom for northern pike.
Once the tip-up flag comes up indicating a strike, set the hook quickly so as not to lose the fish.
