Terry Tuma Fishing Tip: Line Diameter
In this week’s CCX Sports fishing tip Hall of Fame angler Terry Tuma talks about line diameter, related to catching big fish.
Terry says you don’t necessarily need to use heavier line. Consider 4 to 6-pound test which will cause less friction in the rod guide and also allows for greater accuracy and distance in casting.
Also try braided line with a fluorocarbon leader especially for fish who are line-shy on lakes with heavy fishing pressure.
