Terry Tuma Fishing Tip: Catching Big Northern Pike
In this week’s CCX fishing tip Hall of Fame angler Terry Tuma talks about catching big Northern pike.
Terry says at this time of year pike often move out of the deep waters and into the flats.
Terry suggests casting single or tandem spinner baits, experimenting with different colors. Try live bait rigs and consider using an 8 to 12 inch leader and a 20 pound test line.
Lakes with natural springs or an incoming stream are also good locations to find pike at this time of year.
