Terry Tuma Fishing Tip: Casting Distance with Crankbaits
In this week’s CCX Fishing Tip, Hall of Fame angler Terry Tuma talks about casting distance when casting crankbaits.
Terry says to use a rod at least 7 feet long with a bait caster balanced to match the rod.
Make sure you get your crankbait into the strike window where the fish are, casting beyond and then retrieving.
Also dip the rod tip into the water slightly as this will make the crankbait run deeper.
