Swimbaits for Bass and Walleyes
In this week’s CCX Fishing Tip Hall of Fame angler Terry Tuma talks about the use of swimbaits for catching large and small-mouthed bass, and even walleyes.
Terry says the key is to select the correct length of swimbaits, ideally 2 1/2 to 5 inches long.
Slow, steady retrieves are often the most productive, but stop and go and a crawl along the lake bottom work too.
In darker water pick out a lure with tail action that vibrates.
