State Cross Country Highlights
The state cross country meet featured four local teams and a number of individuals from the northwest metro.
The Wayzata girls finished second in Class AA, and the Trojans’ Abbey Nechanicky placed second individually.
Shuayb Hussein of Wayzata was the top local boys finisher in Class AA, placing seventh.
Maple Grove’s boys team was 13th.
The Heritage Christian Academy boys placed 14th in Class A.
The Providence Academy girls were in 12th in Class A.
