St. Thomas Volleyball Features NW Area Talent
The University of St. Thomas volleyball team features a pair of standouts from the northwest suburbs.
They include outside hitter Madie Kroehler of Brooklyn Park, a Totino-Grace graduate.
Former Osseo star Kate Achenbach of Maple Grove is another key player for the Tommies.
Wayzata graduate and Plymouth native Lauren Jagerson is also part of the squad.
They are 28-4 after a five-set win over Augsburg in the MIAC semifinals Thursday.
St. Thomas hosts St. Olaf in the conference tournament championship match Saturday.
