Shot Clock Approved for Minnesota High School Basketball
Use of a shot clock for Minnesota high school basketball has been approved.
The Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) approved the motion at a board meeting Thursday morning.
The 35 second clock will be implemented in the 2023-24 season at the varsity level for girls and boys basketball.
Teams in lower level games can choose to use the clock if both teams approve.
