Section 6 Nordic Ski Highlights
Local skiers and teams fared well at the Section 6 Nordic ski meet.
The Armstrong boys and Wayzata girls won team championships.
The Wayzata boys and Hopkins girls teams also qualified for state by finishing second.
Roger Anderson of Armstrong won the boys individual title.
Lauren McCollor of Wayzata emerged as section girls champion.
The state meet is next Thursday at Giant’s Ridge in Biwabik.
