Section 5AAA Wrestling Individual Finals Highlights
The Section 5AAA wrestling individual finals featured plenty of wrestlers from the northwest suburbs.
Wayzata wrestlers won six section titles, and another four Trojans qualified for state by finishing second.
Osseo had one section champion and three state qualifiers in all.
Armstrong and Cooper each had one section champion, and Park Center had one state qualifier.
The state tournament is this week at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.
Team competition is Thursday. No team from the CCX viewing area qualified this year.
Individual competition is Friday and Saturday.
