Section 5AA Girls Swimming Highlights
The Section 5AA girls swimming and diving meet featured some strong performances from local teams.
Wayzata won the team title for a 14th straight season.
Armstrong finished second and Champlin Park third in the meet.
Armstrong’s Sierra Smith won the 100 and 200 freestyle races.
Melinda Zhang of Wayzata won the 200 IM and 100 butterfly.
Wayzata won the 200 medley relay and 400 freestyle relay.
The state meet is this week at the University of Minnesota.
