Section 5 Alpine Skiing Highlights
The Hopkins boys placed second behind Minnetonka to qualify for state as a team at the Section 5 alpine ski meet.
In addition to the Royals, two Wayzata boys and two Benilde-St. Margaret’s boys advanced to state as individuals.
On the girls side, Minnetonka and Brainerd claimed the two team spots.
Locally, Benilde and Hopkins each had two girls qualify for state as individuals and Wayzata advanced one.
The state alpine meet is February 13th at Giant’s Ridge in Biwabik.
