Robins PI Places 3rd at State Adapted Softball
The Robbinsdale/Hopkins/Mound-Westonka Robins PI division team placed 3rd at the state adapted softball tournament.
After losing to eventual champion Dakota United in the semifinals, the Robins beat Rochester 13-9 in the third-place game.
The Robins scored five runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to break an 8-8 tie on the way to the win.
Mark Cleveland and Jayda Johnson of the Robins made the all-tournament team.
