Robins PI Adapted Soccer Falls to Dakota United in Championship Game
The Robbinsdale-Hopkins-Mound-Westonka Robins PI division adapted soccer team lost a heartbreaker 4-3 to Dakota United in the championship game of the state tournament.
It was a rematch of the 2021 title game, which was won by the Robins.
Jose Leon Estrada gave the Robins a 2-1 halftime lead with a pair of goals Saturday.
Midway through the second half they went up 3-1 on a rebound goal by Anthony Dockter Jr.
Dakota United stormed back though, with Fiona Sitzmann scoring three straight as the Hawks rallied for the 4-3 win.
Sitzmann scored all four goals for Dakota United.
