Reflections of 1995: Remembering Osseo’s 1995 Legion Baseball Team
In 1995 the Osseo American Legion baseball team advanced all the way to the Legion World Series.
John Yunker, a 1995 Osseo High School graduate, played on that team and talked to CCX Sports about the team’s long summer of baseball.
That was the last Osseo team, until this week, to advance beyond the state tournament.
The 1995 team won the Great Lakes Regional tournament in Indiana and then finished third in the national tournament, held that year in Fargo.
