Quick Start Propels Hopkins Girls Basketball to Big Win over #1 Eden Prairie
In a match-up of the top two ranked girls basketball teams in Class 4A, Hopkins took down Eden Prairie 83-66, sparked by a 21-0 to start the game.
The Royals forced several turnovers that led to fast-break points and held the Eagles scoreless for the first seven minutes of the game.
Lauren Hillesheim knocked in three triples in the first half and led the Royals in scoring with 19 points.
Liv Bell put up 16 points, while Maliyah White and Jaliyah Diggs each added 10 points.
With the win, the Royals advanced to 11-3 on the season.
