Providence Academy Volleyball Edges Maranatha Christian Academy in 5AA Tournament
The Providence Academy volleyball team won the final two sets to beat Maranatha Christian Academy in five sets of their Section 5AA semifinal match Tuesday.
The Lions won 28-26, 17-25, 21-25, 25-19 and 15-9.
Providence (18-3), the third seed in 5AA, now meets second-seeded Maple Lake in the section semifinals Thursday at 7:45 pm at St. Michael-Albertville High School.
Maranatha finishes its season with a 20-10 record.
