Providence Academy Set for State Semifinal Challenge
The Providence Academy girls basketball team hits the big stage of the Target Center on Tuesday for its state tournament semifinal game.
The Lions (21-1) play top-ranked New London-Spicer (22-0) at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Providence Academy advanced to the semifinals with a 94-91 win over Duluth Marshall in last week’s class AA quarterfinals.
The Lions feature four players who average in double figures scoring led by 7th grade guard Maddyn Greenway who is averaging 21.4 points per game.
