Providence Academy Girls Basketball Wins Fourth Straight State Class AA Championship
In their 81-63 win over Crosby-Ironton in the state class AA championship, the Providence Academy girls basketball team made MSHSL girls basketball history becoming the first ever program to win four consecutive state titles.
Junior guard Maddyn Greenway led the way for the Lions, scoring 40 points and going 16-of-27 from the field.
Senior Hope Counts recorded a double-double to cap her career at Providence Academy, putting up 23 points and 15 rebounds.
The Lions finished their state championship season with a 32-0 record.
