Providence Academy Girls Basketball Wins 20th Game
The Providence Academy girls basketball team won its 20th game of the season Thursday, beating Mayer Lutheran 66-58.
The Lions are ranked fourth in the state in Class AA while the Crusaders are ranked sixth in Class A.
Grace Counts scored 24 points to lead Providence in scoring while her sister Maria added 18. Maddyn Greenway scored 12.
Emma Lade scored 24 points to pace Mayer Lutheran in scoring.
The Lions (20-4) finish the regular season with games against Minnehaha Academy- the top-ranked team in Class AA, and Holy Angels, currently ranked second in Class AAA.
