Providence Academy Girls Basketball Team Set for State
The Providence Academy girls basketball team is set for the state Class AA tournament.
The Lions are in the state tourney for the first time since 2013.
They beat Watertown-Mayer to win the Section 5AA title Friday in St. Cloud.
It’s a balanced team with a mix of talented young players and senior leaders.
Providence is 25-5 coming into the state tournament.
The Lions meet second seed Sauk Centre in the AA quarterfinals Wednesday at 6:00 p.m.
