Providence Academy Girls Basketball Taking Aim at Fourth Straight State Title
The Providence Academy girls basketball team is coming off three straight Class AA state championships and the Lions are taking aim on becoming the first program in MSHSL girls basketball history to win four straight state titles.
Maddyn Greenway, Hope Counts, and Emma Millerbernd have all been key pieces to each Lions’ championship team the past three years.
All three of those starters return, along with guards McKenna Schaefer and Beckett Greenway who played key minutes last year.
The Lions will play a tough schedule that will feature eight Class AAAA opponents.
Providence (1-0) plays at Eastview Tuesday night.
