Providence Academy Girls Basketball Stays Perfect With 66-59 Win over Hopkins
The Providence Academy girls basketball team outscored Hopkins by 14 points in the second half and earned their tenth win of the season with a 66-59 win over Hopkins.
The Lions were down by seven at halftime, but a couple of runs at the start and midway through the second half propelled Providence Academy to remain perfect on the season.
Maddyn Greenway led all scorers with 36 points. Mckenna Schaefer added 10 points, Beckett Greenway chipped in nine, and Hope Counts scored eight for Providence.
The Royals were led by Lauren Hillesheim, who poured in 20 points.
Erma Walker (9 points) and Maliyah White (8 points) also had solid nights for Hopkins.
Providence remained unbeaten on the season Saturday with a 91-70 win over Duluth Marshall.
