Providence Academy Girls Basketball Routs Edina
The Providence Academy girls basketball team racked up 67 first half points on their way to a 98-64 win over Edina Wednesday night.
Maddyn Greenway (30 points), Emma Millerbernd (28) and Beckett Greenway (24) combined for 82 points for Providence.
The Lions pressed the Hornets into several first half turnovers and converted them into points.
Providence is the four-time defending state champion in Class AA. The Lions are 3-1 on the season while the Hornets drop to 2-2.
Maddyn Greenway now has 4584 career points as she looks to break the state’s all-time scoring record later this season.
