Providence Academy Girls Basketball Routs Albany
The Providence Academy girls basketball team raced out to a 57-13 halftime lead on the way to a 94-24 rout over Albany Friday night in a rematch of last year’s state Class AA tournament final.
Maddyn Greenway, who is averaging more than 30 points per game this season, led the Lions in scoring with 32 points.
Beckett Greenway added 19 and Hope Counts 17 for the three-time defending state champions.
Providence also beat Winona Cotter on Saturday 105-42 to improve their season’s record to 7-0.
