Providence Academy Girls Basketball Beats Perham, Advances to State Semis
The Providence Academy girls basketball team defeated Perham 94-84 in the opening round of the class AA state tournament.
Maddyn Greenway nearly had a 50-point triple-double, putting up a stat line of 49 points, 12 rebounds, and 8 assists.
Emma Millerbernd also added 20 points for the Lions.
Perham was paced by Willow Thiel, who scored 41 points and brought in 20 rebounds.
Providence will face Crosby-Ironton in the class AA semifinals Friday at 6:00 pm at Williams Arena.
