Providence Academy Football Cruises to 41-7 win over Zimmerman in 6AAAA Semifinal
The Providence Academy football team cruised to a 41-7 win over Zimmerman in the section 6AAAA semifinals.
Colin Capouch rushed the ball eleven times for 64 yards and two touchdowns while Joe Berghult also scored a rushing touchdown and led the Lions with 83 receiving yards.
Magnus Hansen went 10 of 20 through the air, with a passing touchdown to Matthew Hunter.
The Lions defense forced four turnovers on the afternoon.
With the win, Providence Academy advances to their first section championship since 2019.
The Lions will be at Orono Friday at 7:00 PM in the section final.
