Providence Academy Football Comes Up Short Against Becker
In a defensive battle, the Providence Academy football team came up just short of an upset over Becker, falling 13-9.
The Lions made a statement early in the game, stopping the Bulldogs on downs on the first drive of the game.
On the ensuing drive, Noah Boro kicked a 25-yard field goal to put Providence Academy up 3-0.
Becker answered with a touchdown, but with under a minute left in the first half, Magnus Hansen connected with Matthew Hunter on a 15-yard touchdown.
Neither team scored in the third quarter and the Bulldogs scored the go-ahead touchdown with 4:24 left in the 4th quarter.
