Providence Academy Boys Soccer Ties Mound-Westonka
Joel Mogeni scored the lone goal for the Providence Academy boys soccer team as the Lions tied Mound-Westonka 1-1 Tuesday night.
Mongeni’s header goal off a corner kick from Ronan Donahue gave the Lions a 1-0 lead. Michael Doshan later tied the game for the WhiteHawks, scoring on a free kick.
Ben Martin made six saves in goal for the Lions.
Providence Academy (2-0-1) hosts Blake on Thursday. Providence is ranked second in the state in Class A. Blake is ranked 10th in Class AA.
