Providence Academy Boys Soccer Loses in Section Final
The Providence Academy boys soccer team saw its season end Tuesday, losing 6-1 to Southwest Christian in the Section 6A Final.
Jake Brettin and Jon Brain scored twice each for the Stars.
Roy Kyle scored the lone goal for Providence.
The teams were both ranked in the top five in the state in the latest Class A poll.
It’s the first state tournament appearance for the Stars.
The Lions finished the season with a 11-3-4 record.
